'People still send faxes?'
"Yup," the old timer replied. "I can remember back when sending faxes was all the latest and greatest technology. It doesn't seem like very long ago as I remember."
"I can't believe people still send faxes."
"Yup - they still do, that's for sure."
"Why?" the neophyte replied. "Why would anyone use ancient technology?"
"Well then," the old timer mused, "what would you suggest instead?"
"Scan to email would work better, and faster." was the quick rejoinder.
"Yes, but consider this" the old timer continued "a scan is just a fax without a modem."
"Oh." The neophyte skulked away, imagining there were happier climes where the faxes of the world had all retired and made that journey to FaxHalla.
